GPT is proud to announce the relaunch of the ElectroStop® Monolithic Isolation Joint with expanded large MIJ manufacturing capabilities.
GPT has invested in new manufacturing equipment allowing for the production of the ElectroStop® up to NPS 48 in Houston, TX USA. With the ability of manufacturing up to 48” ANSI 900# ElectroStops, and the complimenting ElectroJoint™ product line for smaller diameter MIJ’s, GPT has the ability to supply a full range of isolation joints for the Oil & Gas Market.
GPT expanded the manufacturing cell from 6,500 sq ft to 10,200 sq ft, and added new equipment including a Miller Sub arc welder, phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), large welding booth, a 5 ton overhead crane, material handling equipment, and a 250 ton hydraulic press for Large MIJ assembly. The expansion of the production area with the additional equipment will significantly increase capacity, and the efficiency of production of all sizes.
