NOTICE - Please be advised that as of July 31, 2018 GPT will no longer offer quotes on metallic casing spacers. All pending quotes are valid until August 31, 2018, after this date GPT will discontinue selling all metallic casing spacer products. Discontinued products consist of both the standard and multiple pipe spacers in coated (C12, C8) and stainless (S12, S8) materials. As inventory is phased out it will not be replenished; therefore material is available on a “first come, first serve” basis.
GPT prides itself on supplying high performance, engineered solutions for our customers and has no intention of exiting the casing spacer market. However, the market has changed drastically over the past few years with specifications shifting from metallic to non-metallic casing spacers. As with metallic casing spacers, non-metallic spacer solutions provide a robust method of installing carrier pipes inside cased lines and minimize the frictional resistance during installation. Non-metallic casing spacers have the added benefits of being lighter in weight, quick and easy to install, a good value, plus they have quick lead times and eliminate corrosion concerns.
GPT offers a complete range of high quality robust non-metallic casing spacers including the Model PE and the Model HT high-temperature spacers specifically designed to meet the requirements of the energy market. GPT Ranger II® casing spacers are a completely non-metallic solution intended to satisfy a wide variety of applications and pipe materials. The Ranger II® segmented design allows for quick and easy installation for pipe diameters ranging from 0.83” to 98.43” OD and is offered with a wide variety of runner heights to allow for numerous options for pipe positioning. GPT will provide a non-metallic spacer option as an alternate solution on metallic casing spacer requests and will be available to assist with updating specifications as needed.
We hope this does not cause any undue difficulty, but the end result will be the purchase of products that provide great isolation and perform as expected. We are committed to making this a smooth transition for our customers and will assist you with any technical or commercial needs you may have.
