Nitrile coated G10 isolating gaskets are coated with a nominal .063”(1.5mm) nitrile coating on each side of the G10 core from the ID to the OD of the gasket. The total gasket thickness is a nominal .187” ( 5mm). All contact areas of the gasket are effectively a sealing point. The gasket requires more load to seal than a LineBacker or PGE gasket, but will perform well where pitted flanges, warped flanges or non-parallel flanges (such as non-metallic flanges with molded, concentric convex rings) exist.
